10 week check up today and it's official, it's a peanut!!! Okay, maybe not, but that's all I can make out... Apparently there are arm and leg buds and a very pronounced spine... Baby is growing normally and heart rate was in the 130s. We could see the baby moving in the ultrasound. Very cool. Next appointment is in one month. Alright Jessie, bring on the name suggestions...

YAY!! I see the head pointing downward and the little arm buds, I think even the umbilical cord...I love looking at ultrasounds!
Wow. It's amazing to look at the progress from that last ultrasound shot to this one. My baby is growing soooo beautifully!
Ha, is Nikki's baby going to be Adrianne's baby like Maegan's baby is Sheriece's baby. It's a trend.

Names. Hmmm.
Mom wanted me to use Chloe when I was expecting Jessica. I HATED that name at the time. Now I wonder if I made a HUGE mistake...Chloe fits her to a T.
And what's with one of the most fundamental things about a human being chosen for that human with no imput from the person being named. I get kinda freaked out thinking of how huge of a deal a name is. And most of the time, we choose the name without even knowing or seeing the new human.
Having said that, I vote for Mitch for a boy (I don't think there is a cooler, more manly boy name around than that) (and no one that I know in either family line has one) and I love Skye for a girl. Except if this baby ended up with brown eyes, that would miss the point. But Skye is lovely.
Let's see...I can't give away my top favorites because well, we aren't done yet BUT
I do love Abigail and Benjamin.
I agree with Ad, names are so tricky. Bethanie has said more than once she wishes I'd named her something else. But I think her name matches her.
I've always like the name Madison for a girl and Jaden for a boy.
